1:1 Privates are an excellent development opportunity for your player seeking individual time with our Coach to work on all aspects of Skating, Stride Mechanics, Edgework, Shooting, Passing, Puck Control, Deking etc.

Individual 1:1 sessions:

• • accelerate player focus & player accountability - no peer distraction

  • zone in on a player's weak areas (whether it is edge work, shooting release) with real time hands-on correction

  • help players learn at their own pace  so they can master a move/concept properly

  • enhance player confidence as they can practice, make mistakes without any peer judgement

Semi-Privates (2:1) are only recommended for players with similar skill & ability, to maximize the 1hour session effectively.

Rates covers BOTH the 1-HR Coach Fee and the 1-HR Ice Rental.

August 2026 onwards, the rates are adjusted to align more with current industry standards:

• • Assistant Coach (1:1 for 60mins) =  $120 + GST

  • Assistant Coach (2:1 for 60mins) =  $160 + GST

  • Head Coach (1:1 for 60mins) = $165 + GST

  • Head Coach (2:1 for 60mins) = $205 + GST / no rate increase

Cancellation Policy:  Privates

Privates cancelled by Karen's Hockey School (i.e. mechanical problem with the rink):  Should this happen, you will receive a full refund.

Player withdraws from Privates:   

• more than 24 hours EMAIL notice:  100% money back (or it can be applied towards a future booking)

• Less than 24 hours EMAIL notice:   Partial refund, less a $50 administrative fee

No notice OR no show:  There is no credit as we have to pay our Coach & cover the ice rental costs.
